Now that the Danish cartoon affair has finally taken off and caught the attention of the MSM, no doubt politicians and other cultural commentators will feel the need to give us their opinions on the subject. It could be interesting – and depressing:
Bill Clinton, the former US President, added his voice, telling a conference in Qatar that he feared anti-Semitism would be replaced with anti-Islamic prejudice. He condemned “these totally outrageous cartoons against Islam”.
Yes, that’ll calm things down.
