The idiosyncratic God Save The Queen is bowing out. He’s getting married! Well, congratulations, and good luck. I can see why he might think blogging can’t go together with marriage – it is something of a solitary vice – but I myself have managed to combine the two, and I believe there may be others.

It may well have something to do with being otherwise occupied in the late evening hours…in the short term. I would expect to see a return to blogging after the novelty of getting laid every night wears off…

Blogging’s perfectly compatible with marriage, but when children come along things get a fair bit tougher – these days I have to wait until my four-week-old daughter has definitively dropped off before I can even think about switching on my computer, and this is usually the late side of 10.30pm.
