Maths North Korean style (via NK Zone):
[A] quiz from a North Korean math textbook: “Three soldiers from the Korean People’s Army killed 30 American soldiers. How many American soldiers were killed by each of them, if they all killed an equal number of enemy soldiers?”
When I was in Beijing in 1987 I was leafing through the ‘useful phrases’ section of the approved Mandarin/English dictionary used in teaching foreigners Chinese and came across the following:
“The Russian revisionists want to dominate our country”
Sadly I never got a chance to use the phrase in everyday life…
