Funny ha-ha. I’ve always wondered about this. All the writers behind The Simpsons, or South Park, or Family Guy, or any great and original comedy show, are almost all male. I guess Faulty Towers is the one exception.
I think its the usual bell-curve explanation. The mean is the same in both genders, but men occupy the two extremes. The most and least funny people are usually males. -
Not sure I’d agree with “witty”, after that elephantine clunker about sauce bearnaise.
